A cultural program -cum- talent competition conducted for the under-privileged children of our society, by EDUCARE Society. The event would target under-privileged children belonging to various schools / NGOs in Kolkata. This event is mainly targeted towards building motivation among the children and to instill confidence to be able to face the world. PROTSAHAN aims at discovering new talents among the children who hardly receive any exposure to the outside competitive world. This event is an exceptional one, as it targets the poor children of our society, who are deprived not only, of quality education, but also many other social and curricular activities, which helps them in their over all personality development and also in identifying the talents within them.

This event stands out as an exceptional one because it targets the poor children of our society who are deprived of not only quality education but also many other social and co-curricular activities, which is equally essential to them for their overall personality development and also in identifying hidden talents within them. This competition is conducted in disciplines like singing, group dance, on the spot painting, face painting, quiz, English and Hindi recitation, football matches, athletics etc. This initiative has spread to 5 cities (Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Dhanbad & Bokaro), the latest being Kolkata, in the last 5 years and we aim at taking it to each and every city, town and villages of our country to provide more and more opportunities to people who may be laden with exceptional talents but will never know of it. This day belongs to them. We try our level best to give them the best venue, refreshments and prizes to lift their spirits and make their schools feel proud to have them in their school.
